Jan. 31--A Vacaville biotechnology company, delving further into a field that holds potential for major medical discoveries, entered into an alliance Tuesday to produce computer-like chips that will further the study of proteins.
Large Scale Biology Corp. said it is teaming with Biosite Diagnostics Inc. of San Diego to create the technologies that will lead to so-called protein chips.
