STILLWATER, Okla. -- Amanda Gentry tried to escape the gloomy news at a Super Bowl party. But chips and dip and colorful banners weren't enough.
Like other Oklahoma State University students, Gentry couldn't erase thoughts of the two basketball players killed Saturday in a Colorado plane crash.
``People were watching the Super Bowl, but it wasn't a normal Super Bowl,'' said Gentry, a junior. ``It was quiet. People just sat around. When the whole room got quiet, you could guess that everyone was probably thinking about it, in their own personal way.
