IMPAX Laboratories Inc. (Nasdaq NM: IPXL) today announced that the Schering unit of the Schering-Plough Corporation (NYSE: SGP) has filed a lawsuit against the Company in federal district court in Newark, New Jersey alleging patent infringement related to IMPAX's filing of an Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for a generic version of Claritin(R) (loratadine) Reditabs.
