You won't be able to call this little snowman a fair-weather friend. He is sure to stick around a long while after the rest of the snow people disappear from your neighborhood.
It's an easy project to make and a great way to be creative on a dreary, winter afternoon.
I found the instructions on the Michaels Arts and Crafts store's site at
http://www.michaels.com/
I modified them for our use by eliminating much of the hand painting they suggested. You could also try to cut the cost of the craft by substituting items you have at home for some of the materials listed. Any supplies you need to purchase are available at area craft stores.
