The title of the Northern Illinois Food Bank's dinner-dance, "Delivering the Magic - Making Food Appear Daily," describes what the food bank has been doing since it opened in 1983.
The food bank is planning the March 10 dinner-dance to raise money to put food on the tables of those in need in 12 area counties, including DuPage.
About 400 people are invited to the benefit, which is scheduled to take place at the Radisson Hotel in Lisle. The event is one of only three fund-raisers the food bank holds each year.
