ALZA Corporation (NYSE: AZA) today announced that it has acquired certain marketing rights to the Flexeril(R) (cyclobenzaprine) product and trademark from Merck and Co., Inc. (NYSE: MRK). ALZA is currently developing a novel once-a-day OROS(R) formulation of cyclobenzaprine.
