KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 Asia Pulse - Kuala Lumpur share prices were lower at midday today after heavy profit taking in the early session.

Wall Street's fall last Friday also discouraged sentiment on the local bourse, an analyst said.

The Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) Composite Index (CI) lost 7.25 points to 729.09 as at lunch break and the Emas Index eased 1.72 points to 170.64.

Industrial Index fell 11.18 points to 1,270.34 and the Second Board Index shed 1.58 points to 135.15.

Losers outnumbered gainers 420 to 68 while 92 counters were unchanged and 439 untraded.
