Construction will soon commence on the first five-star hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Developers of The St. Regis Hotel and Residences, the only Florida luxury resort and residences in the legendary St. Regis chain, announced that ground breaking will occur in March, 2001. Pavarini Construction has been selected as general contractors for the multi-use 23-storied development located on Fort Lauderdale Beach and Castillo Street.
