/NEWS ADVISORY/ DRAWBRIDGE NEAR ATLANTIC CITY'S BADER FIELD AIRPORT TO BE LIFTED

On Friday, Sept. 30, at approximately 7 a.m., the entire 100-ton leaf span of the drawbridge near Atlantic City's, N.J., Bader Field airport will be lifted intact and removed from its Albany Avenue site.

It's part of a New Jersey Department of Transportation project which calls for construction of a new bridge on this major artery into Atlantic City (routes 40 and 322).

Cornell & Co. of Woodbury, N.J., subcontractor on the project (Conduit/Hansen is the contractor), will handle the lifting and removal of the mammoth span as part of its involvement in the ...
