Leap Wireless International, Inc. (Nasdaq: LWIN), an innovator of wireless communications services, today announced it has signed a definitive agreement with American Wireless License Group, LLC to acquire wireless operating licenses covering approximately 2.4 million potential customers (1998 POPs).
