Feb. 9--Robert Dougherty quit Boeing shortly after an unprecedented engineering strike at the company last year to take a new job. But he isn't earning more money -- in fact, he's making nothing yet.
As founder of OptiNav, a Bellevue company developing optical sensors for robots, Dougherty instead has discovered what he had come to miss at Boeing: a new engineering challenge.
