Article: School's state test put off after copy is stolen; The booklet for the basic-skills test in math was taken in Cass Lake, forcing a postponement.(NEWS)

Problems continue to plague the state's basic-skills tests.

A math-test booklet was pilfered from a box where it was stored at Cass Lake Secondary School in Cass Lake, Minn., and found ripped open in a school garbage can. That could mean somebody is cheating, so Cass Lake students didn't take the test Thursday. Instead, they'll be given an alternate form of the test April 19, when the test also will be administered to those high school seniors who haven't passed it yet.

Cass Lake is in north-central Minnesota.
