ATLANTA PLANT BEGINS PRODUCTION OF THE 1989 TAURUS SHO
ATLANTA, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The Atlanta Assembly Plant of Ford Motor Co. today gave an added boost to the already successful Ford Taurus as the plant began production of the 1989 Taurus SHO -- a new high-performance, high technology sedan.
Richard L. Landgraff, programs manager of Ford's medium and large front-wheel-drive car activity in Dearborn, Mich., told a news event at the Atlanta plant: "Taurus SHO -- for Super High Output -- is an American sports sedan in the European tradition.
