FORD TAURUS LINEUP GETS BOOST WITH TAURUS SHO INTRODUCTION

DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The already highly successful Ford Taurus lineup got an added boost here today with the introduction of the 1989 Taurus SHO -- a new high-performance, high-technology sedan unmatched in its market segment.

Thomas J. Wagner, Ford vice president and Ford Division general manager, said the SHO (Super High Output) sedan is a fitting addition to the Taurus lineup since, "Taurus set the standard by which family sedans are judged when it was introduced as a 1986 model in December 1985.
