A reader wrote recently to say she had a fabulous meal at Bon Appetit Cafe, 805 Williamson St. She says the cafe's Chicken Piri Piri is a standout and asked us to get the recipe.
Head chef Greg Johnson was more than willing to share it. He says it's a popular staple on the menu for those who like spicy food. He says the Piri Piri Sauce, which should be made a couple of days before using it, is also great on steak.
CHICKEN PIRI PIRI
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 red peppers, julienned
2 green peppers, julienned
4 celery stalks, trimmed and diced
