LAWRENCE, Kan. _ One day after ridiculing the fans that boo him _ the ones that call him "Chenoworthless" _ Kansas center Eric Chenowith apologized Thursday and admitted it was about time he zipped his lips.
On Saturday, his critics decided they'd better shut up, too.
Point guard Kirk Hinrich scored a game-high 20 points, but it was the 7-foot-1 Chenowith who gave No. 5 KU its biggest boost in the Jayhawks' 77-61 victory over Oklahoma State at Allen Fieldhouse.
Chenowith grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds and scored 17 points in 37 minutes. Making Chenowith's performance even more vital was that it helped make up for the absence of forward Drew ...
