CAR-RENTAL BUSINESS TO PAY $30,000 TO SETTLE OVERCHARGE ALLEGATIONS

HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- A car-rental business operating in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh overcharged customers for repairs following accidents, Attorney General LeRoy S. Zimmerman alleges in a court agreement filed today.

"We allege that the business obtained several repair estimates, had the repairs made by the low bidder and then illegally charged the consumer the price quoted by the high bidder," Zimmerman said.
