Feb. 12--Sally French Tyler first volunteered for the Atlanta chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women in 1993, taking a spot on the group's programming committee.
Tyler, a title company executive and commercial real estate professional since the early 1980s, met community leaders and politicians and celebrities -- including civil rights leader Coretta Scott King and former first lady Rosalynn Carter -- through CREW Atlanta. She rubbed elbows with track star Edwin Moses. She talked with former United Nations Ambassador Andrew Young.
