VANESSA REDGRAVE, by common consent one of the great living English-speaking actresses, has not appeared on the New York stage since 1977 and has not been in an American-produced film since "Yanks" in 1979. Is this just happenstance, or is she the victim of a boycott because of her political views?
Miss Redgrave's Trotskyist politics, and especially her ardent anti-Zionism, became well known about the same time she disappeared from American show business.
