Feb. 13--Still standing after the dot-com meltdown, Homebytes.com is exploring its options, including the possibility of being acquired.
Company President David P. Clark said the online real estate firm still expects to turn a profit this year. And its first priority is to pursue an investment of up to $20 million. But considering how hard it is to get capital today, Clark also has not ruled out selling the company, rather than attempting a public offering or continuing alone.
