Feb. 9--SPOKANE, Wash.--A California wireless phone company has selected Spokane for its regional office.
Cricket Communications already has 20 workers in a downtown Spokane building and expects to reach 100 employees by the end of the year.
Cricket will use the Spokane office to expand phone service across California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, said Dick Meston, the company's regional vice president.
The company also plans to open two retail stores on Spokane's North Side and in the Valley. Those will serve Cricket customers once the ...
