Elixir strings from W.L. Gore & Associates now feature a new coating--NanoWeb--that will be introduced at the NAMM show. At a mere 400 nanometers thick, NanoWeb coating is about 30% of the thickness of PolyWeb coating, the original coating technology featured on Elixir Strings. Substantial innovations by Gore in fluoropolymer technology have enabled the development of this ultra-thin coating that retains the exceptionally high durability of Elixir strings.
