CRYSTAL `BRANDS' MAINFLOOR NEW YORK -- Crystal Brands has created a monster of the department store midway -- the upper-moderate mainfloor -- with its recent takeover of Palm Beach.
Crystal now brandishes a men's sportswear plate filled with formidable mainfloor mainstays: Izod, Gant, William Barry and Eagle Shirtmakers. These brands reportedly post more than $200 million in combined annual volume.
The president of Crystal's newly formed Men's Sportswear division, Jay Shaw, believes the operation will represent the dominant supplier of upper-moderate to better mainfloor sportswear.
