New York college students who run their own businesses are now eligible to compete in a regional and national program that recognizes young entrepreneurs.

The 2001 East Coast Collegiate Entrepreneur Awards competition is open to undergraduate-level students who run their own businesses while enrolled in colleges, universities, technical or career schools located in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware. The deadline for applications is March 9, 2001 and the winners will be announced and honored in early May.
