A new generation of integrated circuits (ICs) using Motorola's (NYSE: MOT) fourth generation high voltage LDMOS technology is now available for the wireless infrastructure market. The first product to be introduced is the MHVIC910HR2, a 10 watt, 26 volt integrated power amplifier (IPA) operating at a frequency band of 921-960 MHz.
The MHVIC910HR2 integrated circuit is designed for GSM base stations, uses Motorola's newest high voltage LDMOS integrated circuit (HVIC) technology, and contains a three-stage amplifier. Target applications include macrocell (driver function) and microcell base stations (final stage). ...
