A regular user of gapless Sunday press technology consolidates its holdings and begins the next big leap in capacity.
Brown Printing Company, the well-known nationwide printer that began applying 24-page, high-capacity production to publication work several years ago, is on a fast track, consolidating its manufacturing sites in the Midwest into a central production facility in Woodstock, Ill, while rounding out its prepress, pressroom, and bindery capabilities.
At the same time, it's preparing for yet another new press and perfect binder this summer and planning for perhaps an even bigger web press in a few years.
