GIAMMETTI SAYS NO SALE SIGN ON VALENTINO FIRM
ROME--Giancarlo Giammetti, chairman of Valentino Garavani, SpA, said Tuesday that despite talks with Cartier International, "Our company is not for sale--not to Cartier and not to anyone."
Giammetti was amplifying an interview Monday (page 1, Feb. 14), which indicated the talks could lead to the acquisition of the designer firm by Cartier.
