Adding a Bloomingdale's or a Macy's to the retail mix of any retail center can only strengthen its position in its market. That's exactly what The Rouse Company (NYSE:RSE) predicts will happen at three of its northern New Jersey properties.
At Bridgewater Commons in Bridgewater, N.J., and Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, N.J., the current Stern's stores will be converted into Bloomingdale's, and at Woodbridge Center in Woodbridge, N.J., Stern's will be converted into Macy's.
