The Heywood LGV Driving Test Centre will close for business on 23 February 2001 because the site is to be redeveloped for housing.
Dave Jefferson, DSA's Northern Area Manager said: "The site has been sold by the owner for housing development and we are unable to continue to conduct tests and offer a service to our customers.
