The name "Silicon Valley" calls to mind the high-tech corridor of northern California, but if Gov. Leavitt has his way, Utah will also be known as Silicon Valley. His recently established "Utah Silicon Valley Alliance," or USVA, is a project dedicated to the development and location of high-tech industry within the state.
"Utah is currently graduating upwards of 35,000 students from high schools and institutions of higher learning every year.
