IN PRINCETON Retailers Welcome Back the Ivy League Suit ... PRINCETON, N.J. -- For specialty stores in this Ivy League bastion, talk of the resurrection of the Ivy League Sack Suit comes as a bit of a surprise. To paraphrase Mark Twain, "Reports of its death have been greatly exaggerated."
Within the cloistered iron gates of Princeton University, tradition is taken quite seriously. And white Ivy League Sack Suit sales may have been slumbering a bit in the recent past, the look is awakening like Rip Van Winkle.
