BELL ATLANTIC SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH TELENET
FOR ELECTRONIC MAIL SERVICE
ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Bell Atlantic (NYSE: BEL) and Telenet Communications Corp. today announced an agreement enabling Bell Atlantic to offer, under the Bell Atlantic name, an electronic mail service.
Pending regulatory approval, customers will be able to send and receive documents electronically.
Bell Atlantic's electronic mail service will allow customers to generate, store and transmit printed messages, including documents. Messages and documents can be sent from one computer to another in their original form and can be ...
