It was a year that began with the Nasdaq running wild with Internet exuberance and ended with stock market losses. It was a year that began with a plethora of leasing activity due to the formation of new Internet companies, and ended with space being returned to the market because of failed businesses.
It was 2000, a year the Jan. 16 roundtable panel described as "a rollercoaster year," "a mixed blessing," and "unpredictable."
