Feb. 20--Retired industrialist Frank Wiesner and wife Marilyn were honored today for their dedication to improving the health of area residents the past two decades.
The Wiesners were the recipients of the 2001 Walter L. Rugland Community Service Award. The presentation was made by Walter S. Rugland, AAL executive vice president and chief operating officer, and John Gilbert, AAL chairman, president and chief executive officer, at AAL's 21st annual AAL Report to the Community at the fraternal benefit society's home office.
