Feb. 18--SANTA FE, N.M.--A lack of public money has caused a host of problems afflicting health care in New Mexico, from staffing shortages to a lack of investment in building and equipment, industry leaders told state legislators Monday.
"The economic state of the health care system is very fragile," said Maureen Boshier, president and chief executive of the New Mexico Hospitals and Health Systems Association.
