Westcoast Energy Inc. (Westcoast) (NYSE:WE) (TSE:W.) announced record net income applicable to common shares for the year ended December 31, 2000 of $340 million, compared with $222 million for 1999, an increase of 53%.
Following record third quarter earnings, earnings per common share were $1.09 and $0.38 for the three months ended December 31, 2000 and 1999 respectively, reflecting another outstanding performance in the fourth quarter of 2000.
