Feb. 21--RECOVERY? RECESSION? ANSWER LIES WITH CONSUMERS: If you're worried that the economy might be sliding into recession, you'll be relieved to know that the experts don't think so.

According to the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia's quarterly poll, economists think the worst part of the slowdown is upon us right now, and it's pretty much all uphill from here.

The consensus opinion, according to the Philly Fed, pegs the current annual rate of economic growth around 0.8 percent, which is low enough to warrant putting quotes around the word growth.
