COMFORTABLE IN the kitchen garden as well as in an ornamental bed, nasturtiums (Tropaeolum species) have an accommodating nature that makes their eye-catching flowers and foliage fit into any garden scheme.
The common name of nasturtium is a misapplication: True Nasturtium officinale is watercress. But the mix-up is understandable, because both are edible and have a peppery taste.
