Anand Pattani quietly went about his business for three quarters for Barrington on Tuesday night.
The 6-foot senior missed his only 2 shots while 6-7 junior teammate Scott Schmitz was the center of attention on his way to 18 points, 18 rebounds and 5 blocks.
But Pattani played big late in a Mid-Suburban League crossover at Elk Grove. His 3-pointer put Barrington ahead for good and he scored all 9 of his points in the final 6:59 of a 66-57 victory.
