Parfetts cash and carry has raised the multiples' hackles by blacklisting them from its depots.
The policy decision was made after Parfetts turned away Safeway and Asda when they tried to open accounts in Halifax and Anfield.
Parfetts md Steve Parfett said: "I understand that Carlos Criado-Perez is telling Safeway to stay in stock at all costs. But because of quantities, serving them would muck up our ordering patterns. I commend local managers for using their initiative though."
