Hail and farewell. The Nervous Center, a funky Lincoln Square coffeehouse where progressive musician Ken Vandermark held court and a host of " home tapers" regularly shared their DIY recordings with adventurous patrons, closed last week. Owners Richard and Ken Syska hope to reopen their combination cafe and experimental/electronic music haven elsewhere. Keep tabs on their progress at www.nervouscenter.com.
