Virgin Records was a big winner at the 2001 Grammy Awards as three superstars took home honors for their music, further punctuating a great year of music to kick off the new century.
Cheeba Sound / Virgin Records sensation D'Angelo was a two-time winner this year. The singer's critically acclaimed, Number One album Voodoo was named "Best R&B Album," and the smoldering hit single, "Untitled (How Does It Feel)," was named "Best Male R&B Vocal Performance."
