PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The local SAUDI ELECTRICITY CO. (SEC) is currently gearing-up to install a power line between Shedgum, Hawiya and Haradth in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. In so doing, SEC recently awarded a construction contract to the local MIDDLE EAST ENGINEERING CO. (MEEDCO).
According to the terms of the award, MEEDCO will be responsible for erecting more than 100 kms of overhead line that will connect existing and underground gas plants. In addition, a 380 Kv connection will be established between Shedgum and Hawiya while another 230 Kv unit will be set-up between Hawiya and Haradht.
