PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The NATIONAL IRANIAN PETROCHEMICAL CO. (NIPC) recently awarded a construction contract for a heavy polyethylene plant to a German/ Iranian joint venture. The partners in the planned undertaking include Germany- based KRUPP UHDE and the local SAZEH PARDAZI IRAN CONSULTING ENGINEERING P.J.S..
According to the terms of the award, the partnership will be responsible for building a complex with an installed production capacity of 300,000 tons per year.
