CLAYTON GENERAL HOSPITAL ISSUES 'CODE RED' DIRECTIVE
RIVERDALE, Ga., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Clayton General Hospital in Riverdale, Ga., has been mandated by the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) to correct specific deficiencies by March 24, 1989, in order to maintain Medicare reimbursement.
The hospital has already taken aggressive steps to come into compliance. Both administration and hospital and medical staff task forces are activating policies and taking disciplinary action to ensure that the quality patient care for which Clayton General Hospital is known continues.
