Merrill Lynch today announced a $250,000 grant to help launch an innovative campaign created by the city to attract teachers to Boston.
Merrill Lynch's grant will help Boston cope with a teacher shortage that could worsen in the coming years, as an estimated 50 percent of Boston teachers are scheduled to retire in the next five years.
