FRANKFURT, Germany-"I've seen all kinds of shows -- terrific, mediocre, terrible -- but if a company wants to be in the international home textiles business, they must come to Heimtextil. If not as an exhibitor, then as a visitor," said Lawrence J. Brill, director of the market expansion division of the Office of Textiles and Apparel at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
"If [textile companies] are serious about export, they must exhibit," said Brill, who has been attending Heimtextil for 19 years. "It's the only show where you can meet buyers from all over the world."
