HIGH POINT, N.C.-Lovers of history and home furnishings may be able to satisfy both desires if The History Channel's newest licensing strategy takes off.
The History Channel and its parent, A&E Television Networks, last week announced a licensing program targeting several home furnishings categories.
Carrie Trimmer, director of consumer products licensing for A&E Television Networks, came to High Point last week to make the announcement and to gauge interest in the project from several manufacturers, such as Thomasville Furniture, Maitland-Smith and possibly Lexington Furniture.
