PARIS -- Retail expansion produced rapid top-line growth last year for Barbara Bui.

The French fashion firm said Monday sales soared 52.4 percent in 2000, to $14.22 million, versus $9.3 million a year earlier. (Dollar figures are converted from the euro at current exchange rates.)
