The newly built Des Plaines Public Library will get some visitors from all over the country this Saturday as part of the Public Library Association's Spring Symposium.
About 30 to 50 attendees will stop by during a tour of two other public libraries for the "Building the Perfect Library" program.
The Public Library Association is a division of the American Library Association. The symposium is being held in Chicago.
"We certainly are flattered to be included in a program called "Building the Perfect Library," said Leslie Steiner, public information director for Des Plaines Public Library.
